I had a great visit with Prof. Bhavik Patel and his colleagues at the University of Brighton in November. Great to have stimulating conversations about bioanalytical chemistry lab research and chemistry education research. May was filled with end-of-year celebrations for the lab. Special congratulations to 2024 graduates Caina Pierre and Andres Rodriguez!

Congratulations to lab member Sarah Hogan, who was selected as one of two student speakers for the Glastonbury High School STEMposium. She presented on her work generated metal-adapted strains of Tetrahymena thermophila.

Thanks to Sue Lunte and Jay Sibbitts for a great visit to KU and Lawrence. Andres and I had a great time!
